• Recommendation:

Lakeshore Fire Extrication Equipment

• Recommendation:

  Approve the purchase of five (5) sets of Auto Extrication Tools through Municipal Emergency Services MES – Code 4 Fire & Rescue for $275,000; as approved in the 2024 Capital Budget Item Fire-24-6674; and

  Request the additional capital funding of $2,517 to be taken from the Fire Department Fleet and Equipment Reserves to support the total purchase price of $277,517 including tax, all as presented at the Regular Council meeting of May 14, 2024.

Lakeshore Fire Services Rescue 1 Vehicle Replacement

• Recommendation:

  Approve the purchase of a new fire rescue truck from CET Rescue Trucks through Darch Fire Equipment -1200 degrees for $285,000; as approved in the 2024 Capital Budget Item Fire-24-6673; and

  Return the additional capital funding of $95,000 back to the Fire Department Fleet and Equipment Reserves to support future lifecycle replacement of additional vehicles, all as presented at the May 14, 2024 Council meeting.

Award Services for the 2024 Roads Needs Study

• Recommendation:

  Award Step 1) Field Assessment and Scan for the 2024 Roads Needs Study to StreetScan for a total cost of $159,260.50 including applicable HST; and

  Award Step 2) Engineering and Reporting for the 2024 Roads Needs Study to analyze data and complete the Roads Needs Study to R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited for a total cost of $84,359.04 including applicable HST, as presented at the May 14, 2024 Council meeting.

Update to the Lakeshore Community Benefits Policy

• Recommendation:

  Direct the Clerk to read By-law 53-2024 updating the Community Benefit Fund Grants Policy, as presented at the May 14, 2024 Council meeting
