  • Recommendation:

    Council move into closed session in Council Chambers at 5:00 PM in accordance with:

    1. Paragraph 239(2)(e), (f) and (k) of the Municipal Act, 2001 to discuss litigation affecting the municipality, advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege and a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality regarding Ontario Land Tribunal Appeal of Zoning By-law Amendment ZBA-30-2021 (2730 County Road 42).
    2. Paragraph 239(2)(c) and (k) of the Municipal Act, 2001 to discuss a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, and a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality regarding the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre Room 010.
  • Recommendation:

    The portion of land legally known as Alley Plan 284, Tilbury; Abutting Lots 3 to 9 Plan 284, being the north half of the Property Identifier Number 75060-0118(LT), be closed, stopped up and declared surplus;

    Administration proceed with conveying the land pursuant to Policy CAD – 284, Closing Sale and Disposition of Streets and Alleys; and,

    Direct the Clerk to read By-law 42-2022 during the “Consideration of By-laws”, all as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    The portion of land legally known as Alley Plan 160, Rochester; Lakeshore, being all of the Property Identifier Number 75036-0124(LT), be closed, stopped up and declared surplus;

    Administration proceed with conveying the land pursuant to Policy CAD – 284, Closing Sale and Disposition of Streets and Alleys; and

    Direct the Clerk to read By-law 41-2022 during the “Consideration of By-laws”, all as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Direct the Clerk to read By-law 52-2022 adopting the Disconnect from Work Policy, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Approve the Lakeshore Sports Field Allocation Policy, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting; and

    Direct the Clerk to read By-law 57-2022 adopting the policy.

  • Recommendation:

    Direct Administration to proceed with Option 1 – Use of Lakeshore Logo to be used on the County of Essex Warden’s Chain of Office, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    1. Remove the property known as 6512 Main Street, Comber, from the Municipality of Lakeshore heritage register, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    2. Remove the property known as 1078 Countryview Lane, Ruscom Station, from the Municipality of Lakeshore heritage register; all as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Whereas Dr. Stephen Foster Millen was a lifelong resident of Woodslee who faithfully served the Woodslee Community for over 50 years as the area's resident Doctor and as the Medical Officer of Health for the Townships of Maidstone and Rochester;

    Whereas the Municipality of Lakeshore wishes to honour the late Dr. S. F. Millen for his dedication and commitment to the community;

    Therefore be it resolved that the walking path in the Millen Park which is located in South Woodslee be named the Dr. S. F. Millen Trail and that said Trail be dedicated, with appropriate signage, at the July 1, 2022 Canada Day Celebration to be held in the Millen Community Park.

  • Recommendation:

    Award the Professional Services for the Stormwater Master Plan, Phase 2 to Civica Infrastructure Inc. for a total cost of $268,276.69 including applicable HST, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Approve the purchase, monitoring service and installation of surveillance equipment in three (3) parks (at washroom facility locations in Lakeview Park, Stoney Point Park and Centennial Park) in the amount of $37,500.00 (including applicable HST) to be funded from the facilities reserve, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Direct the Clerk to read By-law 62-2022 to delegate site plan approval authority to the Division Leader – Community Planning, in accordance with section 41(4.0.1) of the Planning Act, as presented at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Approve Concept B (Appendix 4) as the St. Clair Shores Neighbourhood Park Concept Plan and direct Administration to proceed with detailed design and construction, as described in the report of the Division Leader – Community Services at the June 14, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    Direct Administration to issue a request for proposal for the commercial use of ATRC Room 010 – Pro Shop, to be leased in 2023, as presented in the June 14, 2022 report to Council.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adjourn its meeting at ___ PM.
