2024 User Fee By-Law Schedule F Amendment

• Recommendation:

  Direct the Clerk to read By-law 3-2024, being a By-law to Amend By-Law 95-2023, 2024 User Fees, during the Consideration of By-laws, as presented at the January 9, 2024 Council meeting.

Tender Award – 2023 Lakeshore Road 111 Widening and Gravel Conversion

• Recommendation:

  Award the tender for the 2023 Lakeshore Road 111 Widening and Gravel Conversion to Shepley Road Maintenance Ltd. in the amount of $990,212.83 (including applicable HST); an

  Approve the amount of $90,615.47 overage to complete the widening and gravel conversion of Lakeshore Road 111, to be funded from the Gravel Road Conversion Reserve, as presented at the January 9, 2024 Council meeting.

2024 Janitorial Services - Contract Award

• Recommendation:

  Award the three (3) year Janitorial Services Contract to Krautner Janitorial Inc. in the total amount of $449,964.28 (including applicable HST); and

  Approve an annual increase to the facilities operating budget for Janitorial Services in the amount of $64,438.09 (including applicable HST) for the required three (3) years, as presented at the January 9, 2024 Council meeting.

Solid Waste Collection – 2024 Tender Award (3-year term)

• Recommendation:

  Award the three (3) year Solid Waste Collection Contract to Green for Life Environmental Inc. (GFL Environmental Inc.) in the amount of $2,891,726.04 (including applicable HST); and

  Approve Option #1 the elimination of the Extra Pick up in Area 3 for a recognized cost savings of $66,706.84 (including applicable HST), as presented at the January 9, 2024 Council Meeting.

Request for Authorization to construct a new waterline within the Municipality of Lakeshore by Chatham-Kent (Amendment to the Master Waterline Agreement)

• Recommendation:

  Direct the Clerk to read By-law 5-2024, being a By-law to authorize an amendment to the Master Waterline Agreement with the Public Utilities Commission for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, to allow for the construction of a new watermain on the west side of Wheatley Road, as presented at the January 9, 2024 Council meeting.
